Speedglass is a chemically treated polycarbonate LEXAN that is scratch resistant, wiper friendly, shatterproof, and half the weight of glass. It is available for winshields, side glass, and rear glass. Windshields are NOT DOT approved. Available in 1/8", 3/16", and 1/4" thick. Glass is upplied 1" oversized to allow for trimming. For Blazers windshields start at $390, and complete kits from $1115.00. For Pickups windshields also start at $390 and kits start at $895. Available for most any other vehicle as well. Call for pricing.

Blazer rear is $325 for .093 thick and up to $520 for 1/4" thick. Pickup rear will be less but I don;t have a price for it in front of me.

thanks, i guess the difference in thickness is just for strength? what would u reccommend for a full convertable k5 that will prolly end up on its roof?

If it is going to end up on its roof I would suggest the thickest possible which is 1/4" for the windshield and 3/16" for all the rest. Strength is the difference betwteen sizes.
