Let a shop go through my 208......when I got it back the speedo would only work every once in a while. So I got under there to check it out and have found that the speedo gear is sliding back away from it's position. Does anyone know if there is something that's suppose to be holding it in place or not.
Someone told me that it suppose to slide on the splines real tight.....and may have just worn out or gotten too hot.......can anyone verify this?
When I get under there and look at it........it really looks like there might should be a clip behind it......but can't verify this on any exploded views......
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
