Check the cable on the Tcase.

well...it could be loose at eitehr the speedo or t-case, cable could be broke, the gear inside the t-case output shaft could be stripped...
I still cannot get my speedo working at all it is unmovable, i tred disconnecting it from the t case and then i put it together and tighened it and all looked fine and the cable flooks good too o guess. So is thre anything i missing gus, im going to college soona nd got to get it working for the expressway.
disconnect the cable at the t-case and hook it to a drill have someone watch the guage and see if it moves when u run the drill if it does than you have a problem at the t-case. if not replace the cable.

Ok, so you pulled the cable off the tcase, spun it with a drill, and it works right? So either the gear isn't spinning (not likely) or the square hole/square cable end are rounded off and stripped out. Look at the end of the cable, it should be square. Does it have nice sharp corners? Or pull the speedo gear retaining nut off (you'll need a fairly thin walled 1-1/8" socket) and check the sqaure hole inside the little gear shaft. If it's wallered out, then you've got the old square peg in a round hole syndrome.
Try taking a hammer to the end of the cable, flatten it out a tad bit more, make sure you're getting a snug fit when you shove the cable inside the gear.

Oh, and does your cable go straight to the t-case, or do you have one of those ratio adapter boxes in between them? Cause there's a little drive pin that goes between the ratio adapter and the t-case that always strips out too.

Yeah, you can take the little box out. Attaches the same as your cable does. I'm willing to bet you its the little drive pin between the ratio adapter box and the t-case.

]No need to keep the pin, i just took my whole little ratio box off and took the pin ou of the tcase and then screwed in my speedo cable and there i went with a woking speedo guage, i love you guys, pics... WORN PIN EXACTLY
Get a new cable while you're working on all that. They're cheap and you will have peace of mind knowing the cable is new and not an old junk unreliable one. I got mine at Car Quest for only $15. Make sure you know how long yours is as CQ offers a few different lengths.

Just a little word of warning, that little box adjusts you cable speed to keep your speedo accurate. Now that you have removed it, you need to watch your speed, or get an officer to check it, because you will now be off on the speedo.
