I did a 67-91 Chevy GM drivetrain guide. I also did a Spicer hub page for the 70-77 External bolt on 3/4 ton hub......and 68-82 1/2 ton spicer hub. Figured to share this info with you guys

ugh... gotta register to even view it, THEN the admin has to approve my account.

I registered so I'm just waiting on the email.

Got a blow up of a 60 hub? If not I may have one I could fax you if you want. Got any Spicer part number break downs?

Ok, I got in now.

Pretty good right ups on stuff. I misread and thought you meant you had diagrams but I see it's actual pics.

Nice page, I like it.

One correction.

"np205: GM used 2 styles of NP205 levers............1st design was 69-72......2nd design was 73-91. Only difference is in length and lever angle........"

Not sure if the timeline is wrong, or if there were 3 designs, however the one used in say 1991 was not the same as used previous. One shown in your thread is what I'll call the '85+ design, as it was made to work with the longer adapters GM employed, at least after they stopped using the 10 spline 465 in 1985, if not earlier with trans like the TH400. The earlier shifters won't fit the floor cutouts on later trucks.

My dads '74 has the "early" shifter in it. I've never seen that style in chrome BTW.

Y'all might take a look at the Chevy section on Pirate, there's a good tech thread on 205's and a new one on 205 shifters.

I collect chevy 4x4 parts..........but I dont have any dana 60 spicer hub stuff. I do a orignial 1970 HD44 spicer hub manual.........i think that has part numbers on it......not sure though.

I am going to post my GM 67-91 T-case/axle/trans guide also from wegotmud.........and all those trucks and goodies shown are mine.

Its an addiction. I think mine are mating and growing new ones when I am gone.

spicer 60 blowup pic as requested. act i think its 1/2 ton but all the same order as mine work fine with this order.

and i just scored my 2nd set of spicer hubs for my 60 axles

I have nothing to add to the topic. But I see you are in Midland....just down the road from me.

Unfortunately all the pics in the linked thread are dead (thanks Photobucket) but does anyone have a source for parts 2, 4, and 6 in the diagram two posts above by sweetK30?

I don't know if they are any different, but the hubs I have are most likely originally off a 1/2 ton D44, yellow knob.

Sort of but not really....

My experience is with D60 hubs but this might help. I was able to source the o-rings for both the knob and bezel from Motion Industries, if you have some old o-rings they should be able to measure and come up with replacements. I also found that the small allen bolts are available in the Dorman "Help!" product line BUT they do not come with washers.

You're wanting the D44 version?

You're wanting the D44 version?

Yes, I believe that is what I have. They are on 10 bolts that were converted from auto hubs, but I know there were a couple variations of the manual hub. "Later" 10 bolt manual hubs had black knobs with no markings AFAIK, mine are the yellow knobs with "Spicer" cast into them. I believe the guts match the knobs, but I swapped these things so long ago, I can't guarantee which version i have, if parts are interchangeable.

Only one decent picture comes up via google, but can't link to it. Best I can do is these:

And this one is pretty hard to tell the hub body, but I think these are the same as well. All the parts look correct:

I vaguely recall trying to find o-rings in the past, but pretty sure I didn't have any luck. Warn sent me a couple different ones to try, but I don't believe they fit.

I have 2 complete spicer hubs. I'll look

The later model hubs with black knobs are a Warn design, any parts they have in common would be purely coincidental. The second pic of the parts on the blue towel is a D60 set (note the difference in the cutouts for th eallen bolts between the 2 pics).
