Spindle bearing and seal retainer?

What is it and where does it go. I did not find them when I rebuilt my front hubs and spindles. It is on a 1990 k5 Blazer.

That’s a shield on the outer stub axle. It’s a non wear item so no worries unless you somehow damaged it or we’re installing a new stub (usually not included).

So does it go on the stub shaft before the spindle and backing plate are installed. Where does fit? I didn't see any when I had everything apart.

why that guy greased the stub shaft before install i dont know ? ? ?

and the dust seal that can be installed on it .

if you live in the heavy rust belt like me those fall off before needing serviced .
