Spindle bearing kit d44

Sbk-4 does this # sound right for the d44? I believe that the axle is a early one. It was free so i thought i would use it

sbk 1 is to big sbk 4 is the one i found that looks like the same size.

That's interesting. Any idea of the year of the axle?

IIRC there are two sizes of spindle on D44's; the later ones are the same as 10b's. Might correspond to the external-vs-internal hub?

Not sure on the year. I will look for the # on the axle. Could anyone give me a heads up on where it might be on the axle its nasty, greasey.

spindle bearing or wheel bearing, hmmm or axle bearing? Unless axles changed thickness, I'd think they all use the same axle/spindle bearing. The wheel bearings are what changed. IIRC

Yes that's it a sbk-4 fits it so that would make about a 70. I think. I picked one up from advance The # on the pumpkin 44 8j . I,m still cleaning it

If you need the spindle bearing pictured above just by longfields delrin replacements. It eliminates the bearing and the thrust washer on the shaft. Much less moving parts.
