SPLINE COUNT ON SM465?

I have an 465 out of '85 K/5, what's the spline count on it?I heard that some of the early models had 10?It's hooked to an 208..good or bad?Thanks.

Help!!! I've fallen and I can't get it up!

81 and up are 32 spline...

i would say good, i have 2 ten spline outputs and they are both in rough shape.
thinking it is from lack of lube to the coupler and they grind the output shaft

The 10 spline 465's have a reputation for wearing out at the output end of things...so yes the 32 spline version is more desirable.

Yes, as Rene said, 81 and up are 32 spline whether hooked to a 208 or 205 (1 tons only)
