spline count

what is the spline count on a 3/4 ton 10blt including stub shafts (if different) and same question for d44
i assume the 44 isn't 30 spline cause u can buy a 30 spline outer "upgrade" kit

also i know this is a generic question but how hard is it to replace balljoints and what's the best brand to get???

10 bolt axles came in either 28 or 30 spline inners depending on what year the 10 bolt is. The 28 splines were used up through 1988 then starting in 1989 they were all 30 spline inners. The outers are all 19 spline and interchangable between 10 bolt and D44. The D44 inner axles are all 30 spline.

The best ball joint brand is Moog.
