I had gallon of Al's that got damaged by FedEx, so I decided to spray it in the truck over the weekend. I had an existing professionally installed liner of a different brand than I carry in the truck when I bought it. It was faded terribly and pulling up in a few spots. After I ground/cut/sanded/filled the spots, I took the gallon of Al's and sprayed a thin topcoat over the bed and rails to see how far I could squeeze a gallon. I'm going to spray some Scorpion over it eventually, but I didn't want to waste my stock of Scorpion in case the existing liner started lifting under the Al's.

Came out pretty good. You can see the ripples a little in the middle of the bed where the existing liner was sprayed unevenly. Once I lay down a thicker coat I should be able to smooth it a little.

Yes, I did all of this with a gallon! ;D

DAmnit. I shoulda got in on that deal. I reckon i'll watch to see how the stuff turns out

I've still got a bunch in stock. I'll honor the GP price to CK5 members until this Friday. :)

Until Friday I'm selling a gallon and a gun for $100, and additional gallons for $60! That's $50 off the retail. :D

Is the deal still available?

I just got this message and I'm not sure if you were talking about this friday or last. Is this deal still available? Do you think the Al's stuff will spray on that good with nothing underneath it, and stick for a long time, or does it look really good because he had a professionally done coat underneath it to begin with?

I'm assuming it goes on really well, even better with nothing under it but sanded metal. If so, I DEFINITELY want it! In case you need my cell, it's 408-623-4645.

Thanks!

Nope, till this Friday!

And trust me, you're better off with what you are starting with. The Line-X that was on it was rippled and peeling in spots. It took a lot of work to make it look that nice. It would look nicer if I had a clean bed to start with.

My cell is 919-906-4688, give me a call tonight or tomorrow if you'd like some!

Great! I'll call you Friday morning, but I definitely want some.
