Spring trip to Rausch Creek Offroad Park***June 9th & 10th 2012***

had a blast!:woot:this was by far my favorite trip to rausch yet! getting to meet new people and also meeting guys that are into the same trucks as me was great , and i agree on waynes comment wheeling is a blast but the camping was great sitting by the fire and even josh and i had a conversation till 2 in the am about fabrication on his trucks and ideas for my k5 and now that im aware that i live 20 mins from him i may have to hit him up for some fabrication advise in the near future:D for those who came thanks! glad everyone had a blast and made it back on home safe!

Next time I will not be in the garage so late so Saturday night I will be able stay up later. I don't forsee Donna being there either.

Nice pics! Looked like a great time, sorry I missed it.

At least one New England representative made it, good job Rich :waytogo:

Time to start planning for next year.... :D

Fender trimming... body mounts... 14 bolt.... I can do it! I can do it!

Especially if you can build a whole truck in a month :pimp::pimp:

I'm now extremely motivated to get my Wagoneer done. Hoping to go (not as a passenger this trip ) sometime towards the end of July.

Cool pics, I'll be out there the 23rd of this month.
My truck should be ready for the next ck5 run. Lets set the date!

Fall would be a good time, good camping weather. It would be cool to have the spring trip become an annual event though... I'm really bummed I missed it, but thankfully life and finances have settled back down allowing me to get back to work on my blazer. New rear should hopefully be installed in the next couple of weeks.

I will be back up there Saturday to spot in class 1 for Kyle. As for reck wheeling, I want to get back out asap but I am in the middle of my divorce and have a ton of other crap to deal with from that. If you guys plan something and my junk isn't ready I might just bring the Bronco up and hammer on it some.

I'm likin this rig right here. :thumb:

Some of us need to take time off work, plan a days drive out there, a days drive back, with some wheeling in between. The cost of gas alone for a trip like that requires some time to save up.

like I said before, I think it would be cool to make it an annual get together, so why not figure on roughly the same time next spring... But I would love to tag along this fall if anyone wants to go.

I was just giving them crap for living closer. :haha:

I would so plan on this for next year.

any interest in splitting into groups based on the capability of the rig? i also think that more ground can be covered with smaller groups. i was in the back of the 14 rigs, and it was a very long wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!
