Springless steering arms D60

Ordered the parts from Trevor @ WFO, I was surprised to get the boss on the first call- he was real helpful and willing to mix and match some pieces to make what i wanted work. Now we will see how the shipping part goes, but if it is anything like the customer service, i am well pleased. So far i have had good luck with ord, and wfo. It's good to know these two are out there- seems between the two we should be able to build anything!

Got the parts today in the mail- the quality is top notch on their stuff. The install was simple and it seems to have fixed it. Today was the first trip around the block without the steering wheel trying to break my wrists. So far, it's some of the best money I've spent on this project. I won't do any dana 60's again in any of my projects without going springless!. (And I'm still running the stock steering!--No crossover here)

What steering arm do you have on the driver's side?

I'm just running the 3 1/2" spacer block and a drop pitman arm. The draglink is perfectly level, which is the only way to go with steering components IMO. I have read so much good AND bad about the crossover steering that i figured i would try it like this first- if it wheels o.k. i may just leave it. (I drilled out the stock steering arm and installed WFO's set screw to get the springless effect-per Trevor)

Sorry, my membership won't let me post pics. But just picture the stock steering with a drop pitman arm on the box, and a 3 1/2" spacer under the stock dana 60 steering arm. When these trucks come from the factory, that draglink is level. When we lift them, the draglink ends up at an angle. That gives us all sorts of bumpsteer and wander. I just did these extra pieces to get my draglink level again. It's the cheap and easy fix. Most guys don't like it, but i figured i would try it before spending a bunch of cash on the crossover conversion first.
