I have reasently installed half ton six inch leaf springs on my 85 k5.If i want to change to one ton axles later can I still use these springs? CK5

3/4 ton status
Yep, the length is what determines half ton vs 3/4ton, most 3/4s have 56's in the rear and most 1/2 have 52's.
On a 14ff rear axle, if it came out of a 1ton truck you will need to move the spring perches, if you get it out of a 3/4 you can reuse the spring perches
