This is my first square body that I’ve ever messed with it’s a short bed and it needs the plastic filler piece is what I got told.

Assuming it is original, that is what you should need. If you are unsure, a picture of the area behind the fill door will help confirm.

That one uses the plastic cup. You can tell by the holes to mount it.
