Squarebody CHOP Shop

Thats Awesome Brother!!! Congratulations!!!

Thats nice!--if I ever moved I'd want a "small" house, being alone, and a BIG shop to keep my vehicles in away from the elements..with a lift and 220V of course..
Hope you get it!..

Luckily a friend of mine will have a lift available shortly... unfortunately, I don't know if I will have an extra $1600 available to snag it if this goes through.

Baby steps.
Get the house then worry about the lift.
I like this property too bad I might never be out of my place

We also have 5 acres and so nice for a little breathing room. Wife grew up in Bellevue, I grew up in Wyoming. She just said yesterday how much she likes having some space...but that was foreign to her. Always grew up in city. She has really grown to love it! Hope this goes through for you!

Seller countered with half of the closing costs we asked them to cover $7k out of $14k, we countered with seller coming up $2k with us increasing the purchase price $5k to cover closing. They accepted the offer verbally but the guys daughter got involved and got him confused so we are waiting on the seller's agent to talk to him tomorrow and hope they get it straightened out.

Good luck man. At this stage, anything the seller promises verbally is worthless as tits on a pig. it'll be up to the selling agent vs your buying agent.

Good luck, post pictures once you've got the property!

Awesome! Congrats

Love the dutch door, staircase and of course the woodstove. I cut our kitchen side door into a dutch door, and its great to have the top open with a storm door with screen. Nice cool breeze without the bugs.

Obviously the shop is going to be killer; tons of space for lift, tools and toys.

Nice place. What is the inside of the old farm house like?
It's dry and possible it could be built into a MIL home. The owner said the owners before him lived in that house and had their first kids in there when they first lived there. The interior has old dry wall and indoor plumbing from the 50s.
