Squarebody CHOP Shop

It looks like it has the "cracked frame steering" option.
It has loss of power steering/brakes at idle while pressing the brake pedal, alignment is likely out of spec (but frame cracks are always a possible adder), gauges don't appear to work (or I severely overheated it in 2 minutes, but radiator was still cold enough to touch quickly and nothing boiling over). The 454 is supposed to have ~80K miles on a rebuild. Rebuilt TH400 with 50 miles, and repainted NP205 (but not resealed). Interior looks good.

Last night, I picked up a set of 15x10 wheels for the yard art truck. The seller even mounted my tires for me. When I left, 3 out of 4 didn't completely seat the last bead, but this morning, I'm down to one left to finish seating. I'll set it in front of the shop heater for a bit and see if some heat helps it finish.

When I had my K10 that happened to be two tone red/gray(not my pick but not bad) I would occasionally drive by a house that had literally 5 different vehicles, all the same exact two tone color!

I always said I should pull in there and say hi just because I feel like it belonged there. But then I moved and never did...

Working on some landscaping, leveling some ground, burning brush and rotten logs, and I leveled the garden we put in 3 years ago but was overrun by blackberries last year.

This old homestead home has wasps in the siding and a mess from rodents inside. I want to dismantle it and save what I can, but it will probably just get loaded into a dumpster if I don't find someone wanting the lumber first.

I said it! Don’t care…

I even like my in-laws. They live across the valley, and they for the most part stay over there.

A little more dirt work. I created a level pad for my wife's new she-shed and craft space. Once it arrived and I started looking at how to build the entrance, the idea to recycle the old foundation I dug up a couple weeks ago popped into my head.

I'm building a landing one step down from the shed deck reusing the old concrete patio from in front of the homestead house, then steps or ramp across the front of the deck.

The previous she-shed / office trailer ended up being a little too small. That will get sold when we are done setting up the new one.
