I started making a new bumper this weekend for no particular reason other then I had some tube laying around. its 2 in .120 wall hrew tube. I have not even finished my other bumper yet, I just want to get the tube off the garage floor. will be a winch bumper. winch will recess under core support. still need to add the raparound side tubes that tie the ends to the stinger. im also going to add verticle tubes right in the center of the bend radius at the corner of the fender that goes straight up and ties into the tube that ties the end to the stinger. this will help protect the head light assembly better. I think I might try and sell this one when im done with it or throw it on my burb, havn't decided yet.

Hey thats lookin pretty good, I would like to see the finished product. And if you do sell it I might be interested.

Why don't you just machine one out of a solid chunk of unobtanium? :p:

J/K man, looks good, flames need a few licks to 'em though. What bender are you using?

I just finished my own custom built winch bumper. The shops want a fortune for one, and i probably built this one for about $200. And its probably much stronger than theirs. If your interested in some pics please email me . I just havnt had time to download them yet.

that is exactly why when I wanted a bumper, instead of buying one I bought a bender instead. so now I can build as many bumpers as I want and maybe sell a few and make my money back on the bender. yes I would like to see some pics of your bumper too.

im thinking in the 300 to 325 range. but im not taking orders or anything like that. if I make a bumper here and there and decide to sell them I will just post it for sale in the parts for sale forum.

I'm not sure If I'm correct or not but what happened to the huge steel bumper that was tapered at the end. Or am I thinking of another K5 that was on jackstands under an easy up??
