Starter Keeps Moving

Are you positive that the bolts are not to long. I had this problem on a mini starter.

Have you measured the bolt length. They can be tight as hell. If too long by a couple thousands, will not keep it from moving. Ask me how I know, had the same problem.

Pull it out. Push the bolts through, and take a pic of the threaded area where it protrudes from the starter. We're down to needing visual aid.

Starter definitely should not be moving in that direction at all. As stated. Push the bolts through the starter and take a pic with the threads. I always torque my starter bolts to factory specs because I have cracked the block from over tightening them in the past.
