Looking for real world reviews from anyone who has used this product on chassis parts that see harsh conditions or abuse. I have researched this product a lot and can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. Its expensive and I would like to know if it really holds up on a frame.

Not an actual user (yet), I do know guys who swear by it on their desert race cars. It doesn't get any harsher than that.
I plan on using it next time I need a coating on my K5 or work trucks.

Thank you. I am down to my frame on my swb and was just going to spray it with rust oleum but when I found this product I started thinking twice. Just wanted to verify it’s worth the cost.

Has the frame been blasted to bare metal? A lot of these types of coatings only work on bare clean metal….for that kind of money I’d be using rusteolum primer and topcoat. I’ve had very good luck with rusteolum rusty metal primer (northeast) and satin black on my frames.

I have zero harsh winter experience till this past year, I'd let the other guys chime in about winter use before listening to me lol.

I really like that primer. I have had great results with it.

The salt issue was kinda what I was wondering about to. I was going to do rust oleum primer and rust oleum paint on the frame but if steel it is stronger and will not rust I think it’s worth it.

I used steel-it on my cage. It has held up fantastic and hasn’t faded. Goes on thick and dries really even.

I haven’t used it on any frame or suspension stuff yet but i will be coating the entire frame once the frame plates and four link are done.

Northeast winter says hold my beer

What’s “winter”?

What we call winter is what you call
Non avocado season.

I didn't know there's no avocado season in CA.
We have it year round
The efficiency in going off the rails here is impressive.

I did a couple of frames when it first came out. Very pricey and likes bare metal. One was blasted down, the other sanded by the owner. The blasted laid down better. They say it has held up. I use their 2 part in the food trucks, only because it is a food grade finish.
