Just saying yes or no wouldn't be a good enough answer.
You're steering should be ok provided you check steering components like the:
-
Balljoints and tierod ends
If they can greased, keep them greased or they will just end up wearing out faster.
-
Steering Box with
Correct Pitman arm and
Steering arm (to level out the angled draglink due to lift)
Make sure that your steering box is Internally sound, and that you have the appropriate pitman arm and steering arm upgrades for your lift.
-
Power Steering System
Make Sure you have enough P/S fluid and the pump is operational. Both Hoses are intact and not leaking
-
Wheel Alignment and Toe-In
- Rubbing
Depending on your lift, you may have some rubbing at full Steering Wheel Lock. Especially if you're offroad.
Be sure those components above are well.. and you'll be off to a good start.
I've had many steering trouble woes, so I dont think my response is over-the-top
Also get an ORD steering box brace. It will help prevent you from cracking your frame at the steering box mounts. I have on and mine works great!
