Your on the right track with bleeding the steering. I would jack it up again and go full lock to full lock about 100 times. Make sure that your fluid is not frothy to begin with and have a buddy moniter the level and add fluid if necessary. It could just be the pump- i'm on my fourth pump on this truck and some have worked much better than others right out of the box. When I built this truck last year, the pump and box that I got from O'reilly's worked perfectly. I could turn my 42's on concrete at idle. The pump I have on there now is not quite as powerful. It sorta bothered me until I went hydro assist
