steering and 42s

Your on the right track with bleeding the steering. I would jack it up again and go full lock to full lock about 100 times. Make sure that your fluid is not frothy to begin with and have a buddy moniter the level and add fluid if necessary. It could just be the pump- i'm on my fourth pump on this truck and some have worked much better than others right out of the box. When I built this truck last year, the pump and box that I got from O'reilly's worked perfectly. I could turn my 42's on concrete at idle. The pump I have on there now is not quite as powerful. It sorta bothered me until I went hydro assist:D

yea i have my lines and the ram, i jus need to get it driving so i can take it to auto tech class at school to get the mounts welded

If you have access to heavy truck wrecking yard you can find the stuff to make it work. Most of the tie-rods I come across out there have a 1.5" clamp- same size as my tie-rod. I just used the stock stabilizer mount on the axle and positioned the other end wher it needed to be on the tie-rod. If you have a stock tie-rod then you can just use your stock stabilizer pieces to make it work. I was worried that a clamp wouldn't hold up to the force of the hydro assist but I can pull my truck up next to a wall and move the whole truck sideways with just the tires. The clamp hasn't budged yet!

hmm thats a possibility.

for now im just bleeding the box, just so i can drive it around.
