Wanted Steering Column Plastic Ring Seal

I’m rebuilding the non-tilt steering column in my 74 Jimmy.

I need a new plastic ring seal that slides over the column and closes the gap with the dash.

Apparently no one makes this save this one eBay seller.

It looks weird so I’m hesitant to buy one…even for $20.

Anyone have one (or two) they want to part with?

It is unlikely to find a used one as they require a lot of disassembly to remove in one piece.

Yeah, I know. I am restoring my steering column and while it is easy, it takes a bit of time to break it down. I knew it would be a long shot finding one loose. Guess I'll bite the bullet and buy the ebay one and be disappointed. haha.

Your next best option is to buy another column for spare parts.

For anyone curious, the ebay offering sucks. I bit the bullet and bought one. Waste of $20. I knew better but had hope. It is simply a rough 3D print ring that in no way, shape or form matches the original.
