Steering issues Need help please!!! (UPDATE)

There's not much alignment possible with a solid axle. Toe-in is about the only thing they can do on the front

Actually, you can adjust toe in/out, caster with shims between the axle and spring, and camber with shims between the knuckle and spindle. Now most people only worry about the toe in/out though.

Which way does the wedge of the shim point? In other words is the fat end toward the front or rear? Fat end in back is for d-shaft angle, fat end in front is for more castor.

Ah, yea I was thinking of the kind of stuff an alignement shop would do. Do good shops actually have the ability to shim all that stuff? Sears probably wasn't the best place to try, but those guys just did not know what the heck to do with mine when they had it. At least they didn't make me pay to look at it.

If it's pulling to the left when brakes are hit then I'd suspect ball joints. Still haven't established which axle we're talkin bout here.

How much air pressure you running and what kind of tires to got? Can you swap smaller tires with a buddy to see if it drives any different?

I have a dana 60 w/ hysteer, trac bar on it, w/ hydraulic ram assist, and crossover steering. I have 37 x 16.5 x 10 Pro Comp Xterrains. I would need to find someone w/ small tires to check it out.

It wanders all over the place left and right. When I step on the brakes it pulls to the left.

You check that lower bearing on the Knuckle? A wore bearing may result in the brake issue but I dunno about the wandering part.
