Still weeps th350

like I said in my earlier posts, there are pump bolts, a large pump body o ring and a pump body gasket all up behind the torque converter that are possible leak points...

going to have to pull the trans and do a little research to see which one is leaking...

The pump bolts are supposed to have sealing washers under the bolt heads,, it could be as simple as one of those missing or leaking..
or the quad ring on the pump got cut during installation,,,loose pump body bolts causing the pump body gasket to leak..

Yeah that's a bead of silicone. Either someone has tried to bandaid that leak or they didn't know what they were doing.
I am suspicious that there could be silicone spread around the inside possibly blocking or restricting hydraulic circuits.
Have you seen bits of silicone in the pan at all.
I think you should go head with your plan to have this trans overhauled by a reputable builder.

Ive done three ATF changes myself and I haven’t noticed anything funky in the fluid. It’s a hard spot to get a solid pic.

The tell will be in the morning if any fluid drips. I have the dust cover off and everything is wiped down and sprayed with break clean.

But regardless this thing needs a rebuild or replacement. This band-aid shiz is a waste of money.

I know. I read every post multiple times. I figured since I got the dust cover off and cleaned it, maybe something would jump out or the exact leak location would present itself.
