I was bored today so I went wheeling in my backyard.
The pictures explain most of it, but I crawled through my garden and got hung up on my driveshaft/transfer case when coming off a ledge. After a while I got out with the hi-lift...
Only carnage that I could see was a couple small gouges in the driveshaft from a rock
When I got out I hit either my bumper, hitch, or gastank coming off. Looked underneath and couldn't see any dents.
I drove it around a little after that and nothing sounded weird... so I think it's okay.
BUT what I learned is... Stock Jimmy's (and blazers) have bad ground clearence!

--in your last post, you were moving the engine and frame inside!--now your wheeling in the backyard??

-I've been keeping an open eye for another K5 though--they are much easier to plow smaller driveways with, the short wheelbase makes for a much easier turning radius, and you can actually carry another person or two,and more than one sack of groceries in it....I miss my 72 K5 the most out of all the ones I had...
that and with better driver judgement on the driveline to take...
