stock jimmy's=bad ground clearence!

im in the Chevyholics club- Got 3. This 89 c1500 seems to get way better gas mileage than my k5 ! Maybe its cause its stock and 2wd! I have to get some gas to do the mileage calculation.

My k5 did not too bad with a set of 33x12.5" MT's without any lift. Occassionally it did hit the t-case, but mostly it was just hitting the trailer hitch!

i had 3 now back to two. wannanotha k5 bad and would like to have a 4x4 burb w/ barn doors. i am in the 4dooraholics club. have two currently. may also see if a friend of mine still has the old 79 crew dually cab & chassis. i may buy that from him if he does. another 4 door project id buy a 4door k5 if it were possible. may get around to makin a short wheelbase 4door with bobbed bed one of these days. im a 4door freek baby!!

The Jimmy used to have 32" tires when I bought it. When it came to winter on the roads it skated all around because the tires were too wide. I haven;t had a chance to put them back on yet...
