Ok so I finally found somewhere that looks like a very possible place to go off roading, thot of skid plates to protect my truck jumps to mind.

I just went outiside, seems I have one under the gas tank and under the transfer case, did any others come stock, or does anyone make any others for our trucks??

No other stock skids. Different styles for the t-case depending on years, all essentially the same, except for at least one version that was used on the pre '81 trucks, which used two crossmembers and a plate between them.

i dont know if anybody has but its pretty hard to get a rock up to the pan. The departure angle of the front tires plus the front drive shaft do a pretty good job of keeping the bottom of the motor out of the rocks.

Good to know, I was just worried about any sort of moderate wheeling I might do before I can get a lift on her. I shouldn't have too much trouble with beginnerish stuff i suppose, shes stock with 33s.

There are lots more hardcore wheelers than you and me and they're not running plates under the oil pan.

If they don't worry about that, you shouldn't either.
