We want to thank everyone who has read my thread, posting keeping it on the front page for everyone to see and a BIG thanks for all those who were keeping a lookout for truck.
Dad got a phone call from the OKC police yesterday afternoon saying the truck had been found and to come to the trucks location. When we arrived we were surprised that the truck was in pretty good condition, there were some scratches in the paint, dent in the pass door where they had popped the handle to break in, of course the steering column was trash, they had stolen the tool box with contents, gps, pike pass. This was just the obvious damage it was put in the body shop to be gone over for other damage.
The truck had been dumped in front of someone's house (south side OKC) after running out of gas sometime friday. After neighbors talking saturday afternoon and finding out it didn't belong to anyone one they knew they called police.
Again thanks to eveyone, here is the truck....

My dad's 1989 Chevy Silverado stepside 4x4 was stolen today (6-22-09) from his place of work (CLEAN UNIFORM COMPANY) off NW 50th & Santa Fe in Oklahoma City sometime between 2:30 and 4pm.

The truck is silver with bedliner and tool box in the bed, stock rally wheel and tires are around 31"-32" tall, blue interior and dark tinted windows. The truck was in perfect condition when stolen no dents anywhere and paint in very good condition.

This is the tag that should be on it unless it has been changed out OKLAHOMA 182-XSP

If anyone see or hears anything please give me a call @ 405-850-8553.
Thanks, Johnny

That sucks to hear. I hope you find it soon and not stripped or damaged too badly. This is why i just had a Lo-jack stolen vehicle recovery system installed in my rig. I had a blazer about 10 years ago that got stolen and was never found so i know how you and your dad must feel.

iv never had a car/truck stolen so i cant say i know how he feels. sorry bud. but i have great protection on my truck. Mr smith and Mr wesson

Dude, that sucks. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for it.

They don't do you any good when your junk gets stolen when you're not near the truck.

My last blazer that got stolen was stolen at 2:45am while i was sleeping and the sound of the engine starting right outside my upstairs bedroom window woke me up just in time to watch it drive away.

I would be so enraged, I'd be on the brink of insanity. Thieves have a special place in hell. If it helps, I'll keep my eyes peeled in Boise. Good Luck

Good luck finding the truck, and hopefully it's in the same shape it was when it was taken. I'm sure all the members near that area will keep there eyes open for it and hopefully it will be spotted.

I don't have any pictures of the truck, but my dad is trying to find one so I can post. Thanks to everyone who is keeping a lookout for his truck.

if i see it and you got the vin available i will jack it from whoever has it or one of my boys will ....guarantee that

Dad hasn't heard anythig yet, but a company across the street is going to pull video tapes to see if they caught anything.

I know what it's like. I had mine stolen a year ago, but I got it back two months later. I was lucky.

Good luck and never back down.
