Straight axle converted Chevy guys, few quick ??s

if I run the H1s I will recenter them to about 4.5" backspacing.

Aren't 2wd and 4wd boxes the same on the 88+ rigs?

Yes they are.

Biggest rub point is firewall, no question. With my short version BDS springs I had my axle 3.5" forward of stock and it still hit hard. Also hit the frame when turning. Now axle is 10" forward of stock and aint no problem :o

TLCOR......I would post pics but cannot figure out how the heck to do it for the life of me and I am not about to sign up for another membership (this one) quite yet. If anyone can explain how to post picks I would have them up right away.

You can upload them at www.imageshack.us, and paste the imagelink into CK5s imagetags. Get it ? :)

Nice ! Looks like some 37" MT/Rs would suit well, though. What Bilsteins are those ? 7100 Series ?

Sas

The shocks are Rancho RSX 9000 adjustables. I got an in cab control that allows me to change the valving of the shock on the fly. They are pretty sweet.

Yeah.... 37's would be nice but don't know about extensive fender mods to get them to fit.

I know I can clear 35's... 33's are on the truck now. Check out pic and you can see why I would be concerned about 37's.

The other thing is that I may have screwed myself by getting the TR 16" beadlocks instead of 16.5"s or 17"s. There isn't a whole lot of options for 16" rims...when I bought these I wanted as much tire possible and as little rim, like a half inch would have mattered....ah we all learn.

Im sure some 315/75R16" MT/Rs would smack right on. (Biggest MT/R for 16s..) And I agree, I would sell the TRs and get a set of 17x8.5" Walker Evans Racing BeadLocks - then youll have a wide variety of tireoptions. Im curious why you let those runningboard-things stay, though..
