i have a 98 dually that im gonna swap the old ifs junk out and put a dana 60 under it and i was just wondering if anyone had any tips or suggestions b4 i start on it thanks

When I did my conversion on my '95 years ago Offroad Unlimited was the only company making a kit. I'm not sure if they're the same now or not but all the brackets were made out of 1/8" steel or something close to that. Not very strong. If DIY4X makes a kit I would go with that. I don't think it's worth it to make your own brackets but if you have the time and tools it may be worth it to you. Obviously, you'll need a driver drop dana 60 or swap out the tcase.

Its not worth it to make brackets yourself. Check out ballistic fabrication for generic brackets etc if you going for a linked suspension. If your gonna use leafs kurt has what you need to piece it together.
