Found a post online about trans fuse blowing when putting it in gear. One of the recommended possible cause was a short in the trans wiring or possible oil in one of the connectors at the trans.
I pulled all the connectors and cleaned them with electrical contact cleaner. I also pulled the main connector inside the engine bay that connects to the fuse block and cleaned it with the same cleaner.
After doing this it has stopped blowing fuses but I'm still a little stumped why Darren's will run without the 10a fuse in and mine wont.
On a side note, does anyone know what grease like stuff is on the inside of the big fuse block connector?
