Strange movement underneath after coming to a stop?

Well damn,
It was a dry slip yoke.

I pulled it out, greased it up, reinstalled and it drives great. I do notice a bit of wobble now though...

oh, not to mention that I almost killed myself because I didnt block the wheels. I pulled the drive shaft and it almost ran me over, and ended up down the street.

God had my back, because I got out from underneath somehow... talk about an adrenaline rush. Man that was dumb...

I now have a new motto... block the damn wheels when you are working on a truck.

That could have sucked!!! Glad you're ok. Sounds like the new-used one I'm sending your way should help things out:thumb:

Good job.

Way to not get accidentally killed too.... You lived to tell the story and share a valueable lesson to some other CK5 "newb" in the future. :waytogo:

That was in reference to mine! Did yours do something too?
naa, I knew it was yours but thinking about all these rolling blazers struck me funny.

I'm sure I've done it before too, but nothing memorable is coming to mind.

I had a truck up on a drive on lift one time and pulled the shaft being that I usually have them on a two post didn't chock the wheel and it went rolling.
Lucky the ramps had a lip that stuck up when in the air and stopped it.
