Street/freeway drivability vs tire size & profile

It is really all about your ability to put up with whatever. Until very recently my daily all had big tires. I have had bias ply tires that just sucked, but also bias ply tires that rode dang nice once they warmed up. Driven thousands of miles on 38" swamper radials. Loved those tires. But I really don't expect my junk to act like something with smaller tires.

The Jimmy has 37s on it I wouldn't hesitate for a second ( when it's running) to drive it long distances.

My crew cab will likely eventually run 35s someday.

The reality of big tires is it's a trade-off. Simply put it your not willing to put up with a somewhat less stable truck, that has worse handling manners than say a truck on 31s then stick with the smallest tire that you like the looks of.
