What is a good way to strengthen my front drive shaft? I've heard of having custom shafts made that replace the 1310 front u-joint with a 1350, but is there anything else? Custom bigger tubing? Anything?
Whatever you break first is what you should beef up first. A good shop should be able to build you a shaft with thicker tube and bigger joints, but until you break something why spend the money. you can always drive home on the rear shaft. thats the one that should be a strong as you can make it.

Sound advice. I was thinking of a custom (thicker diameter) shaft and a 1350 front. Is the cv joint strong? Do you know of anyone who makes a 1350 ujoint coupler for a 10 bolt front?
