You got lucky, mine sat 6 weeks in a pond in 35* weather till I could afford a Trackhoe and 5 guys plus a truck and trailer to get mine. Major suck. But, now I have a basically full on mudtruck with an interior nicer than most 3 year old vehicles with a stereo to boot that will make your ears bleed. So it all works out.
really cool story and video there man!!!! So what have you done different to your truck since that trip as in trail/rig worthy?
At BB this year, that river was dry.
My build thread is in my signature. It doesn't get updated as diligently as some.
It was mostly dry the day before when I got stuck.
