Subs behind seat?

Only 1 1/2" taller than a 12:whistle::D

Haha:thumb:, I was trying to get me a equation going so I could figure that out. But what I meant was the magnet would be bigger so that means the mounting depth would have to be deeper on the top side of the box, so I was wondering how well it would fit.

the whole thing is 2.5" thick. thinnest sub you can get:thumb:

i got 2 sub boxes, for 8" woofers if you interested, just saying...:whistle:

It'll be a few months before I get my system in. I still got to get a deck speakers and a amp before I get a box and sub. I'm just planning it out now, so I know what I need.:D

I'd like something that would hit good, so I was thinking about 2 12s or 2 10s, but I have to keep my seat all the way back because I'm 6'6":rolleyes:

Your problem will be finding a speaker that sounds good in a small amount of volume.

Just run of the mill kickers sound pretty decent if ported in small enclosures. That is probably the cheapest best sounding option.

If you want better sound then you need to spend more and buy a speaker specifically made for small enclosures. A JL Audio 13TW5 would be perfect for that but spendy.

A pioneer TS-SW301 is a little more resonable priced.

Or you could go with a really good set of 8" subwoofers. I have a set of JL audio 8w6's in a small ported enclosure that you would swear were larger speakers form the sound they put out. Getting the correct speaker in the correct enclosure will sound way better then a large speaker that isn't designed for a small enclosure.

If I get a jl I'm gonna make the box the entire length of seat so I can get some cub feet so it will sound better
