I am putting together an 88 suburban for snow wheeling. It already has 4" tuff country springs in the front, and plan on doing a shackle flip in the rear while adding the d60/14 bolt. My plan (right now anyway) is 40x13.5 17 toyo mt, the smaller sizes work very good in deep snow, and hoping the big ones do as well.

My questions are, how much should I move the front diff forward ( no swaybar, and plan on crossover) and do I, or should I move the rear diff?

The rear should be OK where it is at depending on backspacing on the wheels. Front will be limited to an offset zero rate type spacer if you keep the lift springs and stock hangers. If you go to 52" springs up front, the B52 brackets from DIY4X give you a lot of options.

I have thought about the 52s, but I am trying to keep this pretty simple, and I think it will be flexible enough with no swaybar. :dunno:

I plan on drilling the front packs to move the spring center bolt forward, just curious how far others have gone. Is 2" too much?
As far as the rear, in pictures it always looks like the rear diff is moved forward by doing the shackle flip, and thinking maybe I should move it back some?

I have 39.5 Iroc's on my burb with about 5 inch of suspension lift and 1 inch body lift. Dont be afraid to trim some sheet metal.

Got the diffs in yesterday. shackle flip turned out good, used spring hangers for the front of the rear springs as shackle flip brackets. Moved the front diff forward 2 inches.

Might end up trying 52s in the front, not impressed with the flex of these tuff countrys. front moves about 7 inches from fully compressed to full droop (at the shock mount).
