I'm looking for an exhaust. LMC has a complete dual system for $249. Problem is it says only fits up to 1987. Any reason it would not fit my 1991?

I believe it should be fine

Is it a 1500 or 2500?
The only change I could think would make a difference is the 4l80e instead of the th400 on the 2500.
Still should work

It's a 1500. I'm hesitant because they list '73-'91 on the Blazer, but '73-'87 on the Suburban. I called and the lady was clueless.

I bought the LMC Blazer exhaust, and it fit my 90 no problem.

Did it only show fitment to '87? Are you happy with it? Oh; I see Blazer which shows it fits in their catalog.

Pretty happy with it, but I would have probably been better off just taking it into an exhaust shop for a custom job. I had to trim some pipes, and weld some connections, the clamps didn't seal very well.

Not sure about the 1990 issue but just some comments on the kit in general. I used the kit on my K10 with a set of aerochamber mufflers and my end result turned out *really* good in my opinion. However, that was with quite a bit of help on my part. It takes many hours of tinkering to figure out which pipes went where, and how to get them aligned right (instructions provided were worthless and moving/rotating pipes isnt an easy chore). Also the hangers provided are not even remotely adequate for the rear section. The front ones are solid but as the kit is you end up with 3/4 of the weight of the exhaust supported by a single self-tapper which is NOT going to hold. For the brief time they do your tailpipes will be bouncing all over the place. I exchanged those two undersized hangers for two welded hangers and everything is rock solid now. Quality of pipes and bends are great, but the supplied hardware is not. A good exhaust shop can get you the same result much faster but if you want to do it on your own its a good start.
