I'm looking to put some sliders on my '91 Burb. I had some on my Blazer that were basically just some 2" tube, I can't remeber who i bought them from:doah:. I'm really liking Kert's sliders and need to give him a call to see if he makes them for Burbs. Anybody got any pics of some mounted to a Burb?

Here is a pic of my Burb

Well, I just called Kert and he does not make them for Suburbans:doah:..I was really liking his style. I guess I'll have to build my own. Still want to see some different options though.

Muddysubs are pretty sweet.

I'm running the trail gear 67" sliders which are sold as a kit, available in various lengths. You would need to extend the tie in's to the frame as they're too short, I sleeved mine with some 2" 120 wall. Pics are in my build thread

I looked at a bunch of those lastnight. It seems a lot of folks attach them to the frame. Isn't it better to attach to the body supports? I know the ones on my blazer mounted that way.

I was looking at the N-fab step bars, but they want $530 shipped:eek1:. Hell, I'll make some before I pay that much.

Im going to repeat skunked. I say trail gear sliders. Im putting mine on right now and they are really nice. They actually make them in a 78" length...dont know how long subs are but if you needed longer id still buy them and extend them. You cant even buy the tube for the price they go for.

I got mine free shipping through 4wheelparts. :woot:

I went and measured the Burb, and between the fender wheels is 90". The 78" would probably work and look good. For $220, that is probably the way to go. Thanks guys!:waytogo:

I built mine. They're 80", 2" .250 wall square tube with a 1.5" .120 wall kicker/step tube. Bolted to the frame and tied to the rocker panels with rubber bushings.

Thanks man! Just went through your build again. Post 142 if anybody else is interested. Awesome build too:waytogo:
