Why only 13"?

Martin

If you look at that picture he has 52" springs not 56" plus 5" that hangs out the rear, that leaves me with 17", now the reason for 13" is the two body mounts in the rear is 13" apart, it's just a starting point.

Got some more work done today, removed 13" off the rear and with a little more grinding I should be able to piece it back together.

I have yet to find any builds where they bobbed a whole suburban, top, bottom glass and doors, so I will post up as many pics as I can so that the next idiot that try's this will have an idea what all there getting into.
.
You need to take your time and measure, measure and then measure again, have a beer or two, get out the grinder, have a beer and go to bed and think about it and then start cutting.

That's what GM should have built !...perfect size 4x4..fits the family, yet can still be trail worthy too..

How will you get the rear glass shoertened though--plexiglass or Lexan instead of glass maybe ?...or are you going to make it a "panel truck" by filling them in with sheet metal, instead of having windows?..if so,I think that would look very cool!...

I'm in love with this burb:bow::bow::bow:

What is your plan for behind the rear wheels.... looks wrong with it still flat. nice job on the bob:waytogo:
