Incredible job! Keep up the great work. Gives me some drive to sell my kids so I can finish my Jimmy. I can't wait to see it done.

I might have gotten a little misty eyed when you cut up a good rust free sub. But it turned out really well. Awesome job.

That light rack is pretty cool - may steal that idea at some point. Is there much play in the rack, wondering now much bouncing/vibrating it will do going down a dirt road. Wonder if some rubber pads may help if needed.

Also, is that actuator weather/dust tight?

thanks, the rack is very sturdy, if you look at the first video you can that it has 1" rubber pads that I need to trim and yes it is weather tight.

stay tuned for some pictures of the front bumper.

Finally got some time to work on the bumper, with any luck I'll be able to finish it soon.

Decided to mount the spare tire inside rather on the bumper, also narrowed up the bed slide.

With the seat down I can still sleep or carry long material.

Im thinking about building a mount for the high lift jack to keep it safe and clean.

Also removed that heavy sheet of 3/4" plywood in favor of some bling, it's now the fastest bedslide in the southwest.

I really like that bedslide and the front bumper. What was the reasoning behind the inside mount spare? just out of curiosity ( theft?)

Thanks

I just didn't want to deal with it every time I open the rear doors and it's a big heavy tire that would block my view.

Here's another view of the tire rack.

been working on the duel battery mount, decided to take advantage of all the room under the bed in front of the fuel tank.

found this door down at the local rv store, fits perfectly under the bed slide.

just enough room to drop the batteries in and work on them.

That's a great idea for a battery mount. Wouldn't work for me it would be covered in tons of mud. Lol
