Those 2.5" outlets would make them the equivalent of Corvette rams horns. Regular passenger cars got 2" outlets, and I think trucks did too.
The factory wires would have had 90* boots, but the wires were routed down and under the manifolds and then up the bellhousing area to the dizzy. I've always got straight booted wires and just run them up and over the valve covers to the dizzy.
