Ive had a set of 8 inch rear leaf springs laying around for a few years, Ive decided to finally throw them and get rid of the blocks that are on there now. Im having a bit of a brain fart when it comes to which way these go on. One of the eyeletts curves down and the other one curves up. Which one goes in the rear hangers?

The center pin for the axle perches is off set. Measure from the spring end to the center pin. The shorter of the 2 halves goes towards the front of the vehicle.

8" superlift packs ride like an absolute brick. If this is one of those "just because" kind of projects I'd think twice.

Racerx31, the eye that curls up is the front, the eye that curls under is the rear.

Fyi, 52" springs have the pin centered. If 56" it is off set - short side to the front and long to the rear.

Unless you're being specific to 8" Superlift springs my 4" Superlift springs the center pin IS NOT centered. I've had 2 pair of these springs and neither pair were centered.

Interesting since they should be as factory 52's are centered. I currently have Superlift 2.5" lift 52's on my K5 and they are centered as well as the 8" lift Superlift 52's that we're on my old K10.

I bought the springs while i was in the military like 7 years ago for another project and never put them on. I was replacing a broken ubolt when i found out that the springs that are on the truck were totally destroyed. So on go the superlifts. The pins are centered on these springs.
