Superlift super ring spring rates

Unfortunately that research doesn't mean a ton, the problem is that there is no convention for how leaf spring rates are measured. Many companies advertise rates but how are they measured? # of pounds to compress the spring 1" at free arch? At ride height? Who knows, and on leaf springs those are important details that change the numbers a bunch.

That is true, I was appointed to the super lift springs because I plan on towing. During my research on that spring I have heard it has goofy bushing sizes and they wear out fast.

I don't know about the spring rate, but I'm running those exact springs on my Suburban. They are pretty darn soft, if you ask me. I don't remember the bushings being an odd size, but it's been a long time since I messed with them. I put the springs on at least 7-8 years ago.

I have super lift springs on my k5 (were there when I bought it). The bushings are an odd size and seem expensive when I replaced them. They feel stiff to me. I've read many opinions were people prefer other springs like Tuff Country

I've got the 4 inch springs in question on my crew cab dually and I think they are perfect. Plenty soft, but not too soft. Let's put it this way... when my dad (not a 4x4 type guy) first rode in the truck, he described it as "very civilized".

Seems to be the correct spring to go with. these will be going on a reg cab long bed.
