So today I finally finished off my floors and put my seats back in. I drove around the neighborhood for about an hour with no problems. Once I took off down the highway, I was going good for about 5 minutes until I hit a hill, and the truck began to buck really bad.

I drove around town some more and it never did it, but when I got back on the highway, at the same exact point on the highway, it started to do the same thing. I have almost 3/4 of a tank of gas, and the gas has been in the tank for about 3-4 months now.

Is this ultimately a fuel/carb problem? I just rebuilt the carb, so I'm thinking maybe it has something do with the gas setting in the tank for that long.

i dont know if it would help but you could try some fuel system cleaner, Helped my truck. I dont think Its how longs the gas is there last year i had the same gas in the tank for almost 6 months and never had a problem

I thought about running some Seafoam through it. Would that do any good?

Looks like I'll have to wait till morning for an opinion. Oh well. Just frustrates me that I can't drive it now that I finally got it all put back together.

Also, when this was happening, my fuel filler neck was connected, but not tight because I was replacing the fuel door and forgot to tighten that. Could this problem have to do with fuel pressure in the tank possiby?
