This question has probably been asked many times. I have a chance of getting a 1991 suburban 2500 3/4 ton wanted to know how much of a direct replacement are the suspension components into my stock 83 k5 with a 4inch lift. The price for the burb is $1500 the wheels and tires(bfg's and eagle 589's) alone are worth that plus the truck is a daily driver clean inside and out.

The main issue you'll run into is that Suburban almost certainly has a 56 inch rear spring while your Blazer uses a 52 inch stock. I think you'll have to install them backwards to keep the axle in the right place. Just something to look out for. For the most part suspension parts swap directly.

Well, The burb does have 56 inch springs compared to your k5's 52, sometimes you'll run across a light duty 3/4 ton with 52's but rare. The rear shackle will have a bigger bushing on the frame side, 1 and 3/4 I believe on the burb and the k5 should be 1 and 1/2. Front shackles should use bigger 1/2 bolts and the shackles will be 1/2 longer. Rear axle is 9.5 or 10.5 14 bolt and the axle tubes them selves are larger making the u bolts larger. Everything but the springs are interchangeable if you know what your doing. You can put 3/4 ton 56" springs on a 1/2 truck with 52", front bolts up normal but the back mount has to be moved back 4", holes are usually already in the frame just got to cut the rivets out. Blazers don't have the room to move the rear mount so your stuck with 52".
