Suzy Needs HELP! Darn chevy door!

Hi all, My first post here Hoping someone can help me, I installed a new door catch (not the post, the latch) in my 1996 Chevy Tahoe drivers side door. Anywho, I screwed up, now the door will not open! Is there a way to remove the door panel so I can grab one of the rods with a visegrip and pop the door, with the door still shut?

sorry i cant be alot of help never had a tahoe apart, but when i worked on hondas we saw this alot and usually had to take the drivers seat out to give us enough room to pull the door panel off
