I just took off my 39.5 Iroks and put on 37"military tires.
I got stuck in mud but dont know if the Iroks would have made the differance
any body else running hummer tires? had any luck with mud?

I love my IROK 39.5's. They are easy to clear the mud off the tread and keep going.

I had those hummer tires on and they did not do good. Not sure why but compound was hard or something. They road like crap too. But they looked tough and thats all I had to work with at the time.

Are all yall talkin about the 37" radial Hummers or the 36" Bias ones? I have both but haven't put my 3/4 ton axles under it yet to run em. I got em all cheap, so for what I've got in em they'll be fine.

I thought the 36's were better than the 37's...

Now I don't remember how much better, but better.

both 36" and 37" hummer tires suck unbelievably offroad, they are a cheap solution for a daily driver tire but thats it IMO

I'd much rather have the Swampers, but my 37s did just fine going to, through, and home from Tellico, both rocks and mud. Can't beat the price on them.

Groovy

Would grooving a Hummer tire be worth the effort or is it just polishing a turd?
