Swap help: All TH350/205 combos alike???

Who makes this t-case crossmember/ skid??

I'm probably just going to get a twinstick kit anyway.

If you want to twin stick the 205 then you MUST tear some of the t-case apart to remove the shift rail and either modify the shift rail or replace it with a new one from ORD that will allow for twin stick capabilities. :deal:

I was just reading up on that thanks. Looks like you have to remove the plug, punch the pin into the tcase, and create a new detent on the shift rail.

Any issues fishing those two pieces out of the tcase after you punch them?

BTW, I was coming home from thestore last night... as I made the two right hand turns into my neighborhood, the rear (it felt like) wheels started chirping and binding up. Front hubs are unlocked. Think I might need a new rearend?? This is getting interesting! :D

sounds like it might have a locker in it, they are kind of funny if your not used to them took me a while in my truck to get used to it. worth checking out though to make sure. also just in case if your TH350 to 205 adaptor is bad advanced adaptors makes a replacement mine was cracked ordered and intalled works perfect (AA part number #50-5302) im nearby in Orange County, need a hand feel free to ask.

Update:
Well picked the setup up today. Removed the PTO cover and...well... all the gears looked like they were in there!! Other than that, I don't know what to look for! There was about 1/4-1/2 quart of oil in the case... greenish in color. One of the gears looked like they had two 1/16th- 1/8th grooves in it. It's hard to explain. It has both the shift rods connected by the shift plate but no shifters. I'll have to upgrade my membership to post photos.

I'm wondering if it would be worth rebuilding this thing or slapping it in, filling it with oil and running it. Seems like the swap is straight forward.

Also, it doesn't have either the front or rear output yokes. Seller gave me another driveshaft with a yoke he says will slip on, but the splines are coated with surface rust.

The front output yoke on my np203 has a flat flange with (I think) 4 bolts on it? Will this swap over to the 205? How about the rear yoke?
