swap parts from a 79 to a 80 chevy p/u

Be helpful to know what parts, at least, and maybe if the PU's are 2WD or 4WD.
In general, many parts on 73-80 trucks interchange, and many parts on 81-87/91 ... but not so many across those years.

Should all interchange. The grill may require other pieces to be swapped -- the radiator support should be the same, but the bits for the headlights and such may be different (as I recall 80 had lots of options, two or four headlights, etc.) As long as you have the whole donor truck there, you should be able to mix and match parts to your heart's content.
